Wow. Okay – I need to take a minute away from all the beautiful madness to tell you – Big Top Magazine is exploding!

After coming back from a pretty mellow time (and beautiful birthday thanks to dear friends) at Burning Man, I’m back in full force with the magazine – actually, way beyond full force, and I’m so excited about all of the amazing things happening with Big Top that it’s actually quite difficult to type this, but  I need to let you know what’s going on!

First off, if you haven’t checked out the audio interview with Beats Antique, and the brand new audio I put up which is the interview with Jenn & Christina of The Sugar Dames, please check them out! Being able to actually hear the conversation ads so incredibly much to it! The personalities shine through so wonderfully and bring so much of their fantastic personalities to it, that I’ve decided that whenever possible I’m going to include the audio interviews as well – just another way to bring you a bit further inside this beautiful community.

In other news, on Sunday, September 27^th I’ll be attending The Handcar Regatta (http://handcar-regatta.com/ ) and getting and scheduling tons of content for Big Top – kicking off the new Steampunk section with a HUGE bang!  For those who love that kind of thing (like myself), be sure to check out the amazingly beautiful creations by my advertisers in The Marketplace. Please support them, as those are the people who keep Big Top Magazine alive for you! (And me alive!)

And – something I’m really excited about, which will be happening soon – The Big Top Magazine Podcast! Yes, you read right! I thought about doing it a few months ago, but promptly forgot as my brain got saturated with all of the other things that take priority (roughly about six or seven “A#I do this first” priorities that I need to do for CFM right now – sheesh!) but I was reminded today by my friend Cameron (who is the amazing person who initially put together the new Big Top site) about podcasting – so, my beautiful friends, I’m going to give it a shot, and I’m really looking forward to all of the extra content that I’ll be able to bring you!

Okay, there’s a bunch more going on but I need to run right now – waking up at around 5:30am to help set up The Handcar Regatta tomorrow, and I need to get stuff together as my friend Bonnie is on her way to pick me up since I’m crashing at her place tonight for the sake of convenience.

OH – and yeah – I’m writing my very first short story, which will (of course) published here. It started off as an article, but I don’t seem to be an article kind of writer.
