I’ll never forget what one of the therapists that my parents made me go to as a “young man” of about 14 or 15 said.

His name was (& probably still is) Monty Jordan, & he was by far my favorite out of the many they took me to with futile hopes of figuring out what was “wrong” with me. We used to escape his office and go to a café called The Pannikin in Encinitas, CA, and as far as I can remember, he was the first person who I ever actually talked to; the first person who I ever actually felt had a genuine interest, and listened, so when he said something to the effect of “There isn’t really that much that excites you, is there?”, those words really got me thinking, and I realized that I needed to do something about it.

Fast forward many years.

San Francisco & the Bay Area. The Circus. Burning Man. Wandering aimlessly around America. Absolutely amazing art & incredible people everywhere I turn. I must admit that it is still difficult to keep myself energized & excited, but hell, there is no shortage of wonder and awe as I watch other people make their dreams come true.

I consistently fall in love with the amazing things I see people doing in all different types of art, and came across this while I was bouncing around on the web the other day looking for interesting additions to CultureFlux, so I thought I would share it with you:  http://www.lostmachine.com/

I also was recently able to purchase a really cool new component that enables me to put feeds up on this site & keep content rolling in CultureFlux, so check the bottom of the page to find their blog feed - and maybe even help them, because as they say, “Pirate Ships Don’t Build Themselves”.

If you have suggestions for interesting content to add to the feed section of the site (when I set it up), let me know!

Until again - keep dreaming...
