There's something that is undeniably familiar, a certain crossover between the Circus and Steampunk world, in my eyes and imagination. I like to think of it as a sad, lonely romance between the two, where all they can do is take on a bit of the others soul, though never truly meet. Steampunk, based in the exquisite fantasy of a time that never was, and the Circus - which always has been, and will forever be. A love affair that can never be realized, so in their yearning, they reflect each other... |
